What Are Macronutrients?
Macronutrients are those essential chemical elements which plants require in relatively large quantities for their optimal growth, development and reproduction.
They are further classified into two categories:-
- 1) Primary Macronutrients: Nitrogen, Phosphorus and Potassium.
- 2) Secondary Macronutrients: Calcium, Magnesium and Sulphur.
What Are Micronutrients?
Micronutrients, also known as trace elements or nutrients, are essential nutrients required by plants in small or minute quantities. Though, they are needed in small quantity as compared to macronutrients but still they play a key role in different plants various physiological processes. They are generally needed in a concentration of less than 100 ppm in plant tissues.
Eg: Iron, Manganese, Zinc, Copper, Boron, Molybdenum and Chlorine etc.
Plants Struggle More For Micronutrients Than Macronutrients.
As plants obtain all these macro and micro nutrients from soil basically. And farmers usually pour Macronutrients into the soil in every crop in the form of chemical fertilizers but forget the Micronutrients.
This is the big reason that our Indian soils have enough or efficient quantity of Macronutrients but are deficient in Micronutrients. And Micronutrients are equally important for our crops as Macronutrients.
So, we should be much concerned about the deficiency of Micronutrients than Macronutrients because Macronutrients deficiency can easily be rectified but it is much harder to eliminate the deficiency of Micronutrients.

How To Use Multiplex General Liquid?
